JEPP is seeking a dynamic and passionate Marketing and Fundraising Manager to play a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission by leading marketing efforts and fundraising campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategy, donor engagement, and fundraising techniques. The Marketing and Fundraising Manager will work closely with the JEPP team to develop and execute strategies that enhance the organization's visibility, engage stakeholders, and secure financial support for its programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Marketing:
• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote JEPP's mission, programs, and impact to a diverse range of audiences.
• Manage the organization's online presence, including website, social media platforms, and email campaigns.
• Create compelling content, including articles, blog posts, videos, and graphics, to communicate JEPP's activities and achievements.
• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to make data-driven improvements to campaigns and strategies.
Fundraising:
• Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising campaigns and events, including appeals, online giving, and community engagement initiatives.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners to expand JEPP's donor base and funding opportunities.
• Develop and maintain donor databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and contributions.
• Collaborate with the team to create persuasive grant proposals and reports for institutional funders.
Donor Relations:
• Implement strategies to steward and engage donors, ensuring their continued support and involvement with JEPP.
• Provide excellent donor care by responding to inquiries, acknowledging contributions, and keeping donors informed about the organization's activities.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Work collaboratively with the JEPP team to align marketing and fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
• Participate in team meetings, providing insights and recommendations to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, and social media management.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor engagement, and grant writing for nonprofit organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using fundraising software, CRM systems, and marketing tools.
• Knowledge of the Jewish community, emergency preparedness, or related fields is a plus.
• Passion for JEPP's mission and a commitment to community safety and resilience.

Compensation: The Marketing and Fundraising Manager will be engaged as an independent contractor with compensation of $35,000 per year.
